Lake Lanier, a private fresh water lake is located in Greenville County SC. Tucked in the small mountains and just between Tryon, NC and Landrum, SC. Offering views of the small surrounding mountains and amazing medium distance views of Hogback Mountain. You would never guess this is a man made lake, but being built in the 1920's it really makes this one a real charmer. At a pristine ~130 acres, and with over 6 miles of shoreline it has plenty of room for real estate. Dotted with summer cottages, boathouses, and now with more and more year round residents in their waterfront and water view homes.

Nick sold his first home here in 2018, and fell in love with this unique lake. After learning more about the lake, and that not many people knew about the lake. Residents here can enjoy all watersports with no horse power restrictions, and only owners are allowed to have boats on the Lake. Buyers love that the lake has NO HP restriction for boats and that it is self regulated. Obviously it does have some common sense rules they expect everyone to abide by.
